This third Research Journal from CoC Playful Minds encompasses how to promote play, playful learning, and creativity for and with children in the built environment.

The Research Journal consists of a desk research report developed by Andrea Jelić, Michael Martin, Lea Holst Laursen, Tenna Doktor Olsen Tvedebrink, Lars Brorson Fich, and Lydia Immanuela Oehlwein from the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology from Aalborg University.

They have designed a report that, through a systematic literature study, sheds light on existing international research-based knowledge about how the conditions for children's play, learning through play, and creativity can be promoted and improved in the built environment. They have identified practice-based examples of how children can actively participate in co-creation processes concerning the development of the built environment. They have done this from two perspectives: co-creation and embodied cognitive science.
