Learning through play is also a question of the environment and urban space we live in
and whether there is opportunities for exploring and investigating the physical space around us.
Billund (the Capital of Children) is aiming to be a town where people wants to live, because the city is developed with children and also challenges and inspire children and their families to go explore the physical spaces.
This means in particular that children are involved in municipal planning processes and that Billund has a vision plan that describes the city's development from the overall perspective of Playful Spaces.
Initially, Billund is at the center of the vision plan. But experiences and sub-elements must also be able to function elsewhere in the municipality and give inspiration to urban planners and architects elsewhere in the country and abroad.
