On the occasion of Capital of Children turning 10 years in 2021, the artist group SUPERFLEX has been invited to create a new installation in Billund; a playground for grown ups, inspired by children. The installation will be located on an approx. 500m2 large area in the center of Billund and will challenge the idea that some places are for adults, while others are for children – this work of art will be an intergenerational space for play, movement and experiencing together. 

Before SUPERFLEX can begin their artistic process, we need to gain knowledge from the experts on play – namely children! Therefore, we invite children from all over Billund county to give their input on how adults can learn to play again. 

Your child provides input by solving tasks from home. The participating children are each given a workshop kit that includes: 

• A large green piece of paper that says what to do, on which the child will also write their input
• A pile of pink LEGO bricks for your child to build models with
• A disposable camera to take pictures of the process
• Astatementof consent which must be signed by a parent/guardian and the child

Thursday 11 February 15-18 and Friday 12 February 14-17 

Drive-through pick-up: Here you pick up your workshop kit at CoC Living Lab, Kløvermarken 35 in Billund. We will stand ready to deliver directly into your car. In the registration form, select which of the days you want to pick up. 

From 11-19 February: 

Workshop period: Find a day where you have time to sit down with your child and help them get started with the task. It would be good if the child can set aside 2-3 hours to complete the tasks. Unpack your workshop kit and watch the video with Rasmus Koch from SUPERFLEX above telling you what to do. Feel free to use as many bricks as you can 

Thursday 18 February 10-17.30 and Friday 19 February 10-17.30 

Drop-off: You give your workshop kit back (completed worksheet, signed consent form and the child's constructions) at CoC Living Lab, Kløvermarken 35 in the small colorful sheds at the end of the parking lot. Here you will also receive a season ticket for WOW PARK as a thank you for your contribution to the project. In the registration form, choose which of the days you want to hand in the workshop material and the model. 

To participate, you must be able to pick up and drop off your workshop kit in Billund at CoC Living Lab, Kløvermarken 35.
